Still getting the hang of it

She now enjoys eating rice cereal, oatmeal, green beans, refried beand, navy bean soup and can tollerate squash. She still doesn't enjoy fruits.

Oh man she and David look the same when eating- WHERE is that food??? Oh, oh yes, there it is. WAIT why did it stop!? Oh, oh good. Sweet. sweet cereal...ah...MORE! Where did it go?

I love how they eat their hands, too, little flavor-aavers for later.

I wish I hated sweet stuff as much as she does. Weight control would be so much easier if I didn't feel drawn to the m&m bag so often!

You expressed Chloe's feelings perfectly Tracy - a strange mix of desperation and relief. Just keep that spoon coming, Mom!

That is a HILARIOUS video...poor confused baby...she doesn't know what she wants! Joshua also prefers green beans or turkey to fruit ANY day. Especially green beans. And this video made me realize how incredibly grateful I should be for how neat of an eater Joshua is. I think babies look adorable with food from ear to ear, but unfortunately Joshua generally only rubs food in his eyes sometimes, but rarely does it get all over his face. One thing I do is thicken everything that's runny with some baby oatmeal - I've done that for a long time and he doesn't mind at all. The third foods don't need it so much. He's getting close to ten months and still not eating much table food, but ah well...it's not like he's wasting away, right? We miss you guys!
