Home made

We went grocery shopping the other day and they had really good deals on yams and squash. So good that I couldn't pass them up. So today I am going to attempt to make home made baby food. I know Chloe is only 3 months old and probably won't be eating real food for a few months, I just want to be prepared.

Wish me luck! I'll let you know how it turns out when I am done.

That's awesome - don't you feel so domestic - making baby food? I made baby food carrots because we had about a million carrots awhile ago, but I never did make baby food of anything else...I probably will, though. Joshua's favorite - rivaling his love of green beans - is sweet potatoes. This is much to my dismay, though, cuz I really don't like them, so he may not be eating a lot of sweet potatoes as the years go on, but we'll see. Anyway - good luck and have fun! And if you don't get them quite pureed enough for "first" foods, you can always give them to her a couple months later (as long as they are still good in the freezer). Love you!
